Digging a hole
Earlier I posted the David McComb penned tracks on the Takaways album sweet and sour. A second album, sweet and sour volume two, contains Digging a hole, sung by Cathy McQuade, originally on tape 6 (full tape here : http://rapidshare.com/files/48679072/tape6.rar).
Here you can find that version : http://rapidshare.com/files/328374026/Digging_a_hole.mp3
I must admit I like it very much.
Enjoy your holidays !

Congrats on a tremendous site. I've only recently rediscovered the music of The Triffids and The Blackeyed Susans and your blog is like a dream come true. I've been trawling through the archives for the past few months, downloading a piece at a time. I've also purchased all the reissues on CD. I just can't get enough! Keep up the good work. By the way....do you have Left To Rot from the No Worries Compilation (1984). Thanks in advance. Adam.
Hi Adam, thanks.
I don't have the no worries compilation. Is it a different version than the one on the Bad Timing EP ?
Whoops! I didn't realise "Left to Rot" was on the Bad Timing EP. Thanks for that.
